چکیده

Objective: In the present study, it was aimed to investigate differences between clinical and histopathological features of testicular seminomatous non-seminomatous germ cell tumors diagnosed in our center recent 10 years. Methods: All patients whom diagnosis tumor histologically confirmed January 2010 May 2020 were involved study. The medical records screened Hematoxylin-Eosin (H+E) stained slides re-evaluated. classification primary stage determination (pT) carried out accordance with 2016 WHO Classification Tumors Urinary System Male Genital Organs. Results:The morphology seminoma (SEM) (NSE-GCTs) identified 27 (51%) 26 (49%) study patients, respectively. SEM group, patient ages ranged 23-55 years (min-max) median age 33 (IQR=26.0-41.0) while those values for NSE-GCT cases 16-44 28 (IQR=22.75-29.5), evaluation pTs without subgroup discrimination demonstrated that 21 (39.6%), 31 (58.5%) 1 (1.9%) Stage 1, 2 3, Conclusion: Testicular cancers are most frequently seen malignancy young males its incidence has increased complete cure rate is approximately 100% thanks early as well high chemosensitivity radiosensitivity these tumors.

Differential Akt signalling in non-seminomatous testicular germ cell tumors.

AIM To investigate the protein kinase B (Akt) signalling proteins phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN), phosphorylated-Akt (p-Akt) and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B (p27(Kip1)) in non-seminomatous germ cell tumors (NST) with a view to future investigative approaches. MATERIALS AND METHODS The expressions of PTEN, p-Akt and p27(Kip1) were immunohistochemically assessed in 17 teratomas,...

Chromosomal changes in human primary testicular nonseminomatous germ cell tumors.

A cytogenetic analysis of 14 primary testicular nonseminomatous germ cell tumors has been carried out after short term tissue culture. The modal chromosome numbers ranged from 53 to 113, in agreement with flow cytometric determination of the DNA content of the tumors. At least one copy of an i(12p) was present in 12 tumors. Two tumors, however, lacked that marker. Some chromosomes are apparentl...

Isolated eyeball metastasis of non-seminomatous germ cell testicular tumor.

INTRODUCTION Testicular tumors most frequently metastasize to regional lymph nodes. Non-seminomatous tumor metastasis of testicle (NSGCTT) to the eyeball is rare. CASE REPORT We presented a 24-year old man, referred to the ophthalmologist due to acute pain and abrupt loss of sight in the left eye accompanied by its enlargement. Orbital and endocranial computerized tomography (CT) was carried ...

Bilateral testicular germ cell tumors.

Testicular cancer represents 1% to 1.5% of neoplasias in males and 5% of urologic tumors in general. The incidence of bilateral testicular tumors is 1-5%. Approximately one third of the cases are diagnosed as synchronous, while the other two thirds are diagnosed as metachronous tumors. Additionally, 5% of all patients diagnosed with testicular cancer may have contralateral intratubular germ cel...

Scrotal Involvement with Testicular Nonseminomatous Germ Cell Tumour

A 37-year-old male presented with a traumatic injury to the scrotal region necessitating emergency surgery. Evacuation of a haematoma and bilateral orchidectomy were performed. A left sided nonseminomatous germ cell tumour (NSGCT), predominantly yolk sac, was identified. Microscopic margins were positive for tumour. Initial tumour markers revealed an AFP of 22,854 ng/mL, HCG of <1 mIU/mL, and L...
